The Kriya Spa is a magical sanctuary with an award winning architecture, inspired by an ancient Balinese water palace. Situated within the Grand Hyatt Bali on the peninsula of Nusa Dua, the Kriya Spa celebrates authentic Balinese healing rituals by only using natural products.
The palatial spa is equipped with 24 private villas – yes, “villas”, not just regular treatment rooms- of which four are designated to the special Ayurverda ritual. Each villa has been exceptionally designed and is luxurious equipped with twin treatment beds –ideal for couples-, indoor –and outdoor showers, soaking tub, a plunge pool and a relaxation bale, all set in a tranquil courtyard to create a soothing wellness experience which makes you forget the world around you.
Upon entering the two hectare oasis you will be immediately greeted by the charming staff, who will further guide you through the selection of special designed treatments which are based on the Balinese healing philosophies of harmony, purity, energy and bliss. Choose from a variety of massages such as the signature Moksha therapy or let the spa therapists and aestheticians craft a tailor-made program just for you. The personal attention and sense of being listened to, makes you feel in heaven from the first moment. Indulge yourself into the magic hands of your therapist while listening to the relaxing sounds of traditional bamboo & flute music. Upon request, it is even possible to receive an in-room treatment, means you don’t have to leave your own room or suite, everything will be taken care of by the Kriya team.
A small point to mention here: The bathtub area –though absolutely private- would be too open for guests.
A fresh home-made herbal tea to stimulate your metabolism will be served by the therapist at the end of your ultimate spa escape, in the beautiful surroundings of your very own relaxation area.
Kriya uses its own products which are purely made of natural herbs, roots, salts and essences and are available for purchase at the spa reception. The name ‘Kriya’ comes from Sanskrit and means ‘ritual’.
Available massages include the classic Aromatherapy as well as special designed treatments, such as the ‘Yoga Massage’ or the “Full Day 8 hours Villa Escape”. Prices start at US$ 50 for a Hydro Bath Soak to US$ 305 for the “Nirmala Purity” treatment.
Looking at the perfect blend of tranquil surroundings and skillful spa therapists, it is no wonder that the Kriya Spa received numerous awards and continuously ranks on top of lists such as Conde Nast Traveller, TOP 25 Spa Hotels & Resorts in Asia or Best Spa Treatment of the year.
